The ultra-compact and suppressor-capable ARES-15 MCR™ Sub-Carbine is in a class of its own and offers exceptional portability for the operator. Specifically designed for law enforcement, professional security personnel and responsible armed citizens; the semi-automatic ARES-15 MCR™ Sub-Carbine is deployed in seconds from a durable SKB® briefcase system with custom cut foam for maximum security and portability. Standard features include gas-piston operation for extreme reliability in adverse conditions; a quick- change (3 seconds) barrel system and a rugged, left-side folding butt stock assembly that is user-adjustable for length of pull and that permits firing in all positions. The MIL-STD 1913 co-planar hand-guard with rail-interface system provides for the mounting of modern optics and accessories and the centrally located charging handle permits charging of the weapon with either hand. Through implementation of a unique and patented upper receiver system, the semi-automatic ARES-15 MCR™ Sub-Carbine takes down in seconds without tools and is readily stored and transported in its case along with six (6) 30-round magazines and other accessories.
