Here's a quick little review on a recent product developed by a friend of mine. The T&M Tactical Light Gloves supply you with light without having to control the source. The gloves come in left-mounted, right-mounted, and combination models. The single light model is intended to be worn on the support-side hand and eliminates the need to have a hand-held light, whether or not you are also packing a WML. It's a new company, based around this product, and has been catching on with LEO's around the country. They're great for patrol or SRT work and have several off-duty applications as well, including hunting, fishing and camping. Heck they're even handy for changing tires at night.

The light has 3 modes; Intermittent on, Constant on and strobe and hte LED's are bright for their size. Quality is great, the gloves themselves are made of leather and nomex. The body of the light does stick out a bit from the back of the hand, but its as slim as possible and weight is barely noticeable. A final, really nice feature of this light is the tape switch sewn into the palm of the glove, which gives you a momentary on, or you can just reach over and hit the button closest to your thumb, activating constant on mode. The light uses rechargeable batteries, and comes supplied with a USB charging cable. There are only 3 buttons including on-off, Solid or strobe beam, and remote switch on and off. This is a really cool and "handy" idea and I'm jealous I didn't think of it. To read more or try a pair for yourself, go to http://www.tmtactical.com/shop/

Not a bad concept and the price is very good

Interesting. Fifteen degrees for the four bulbs seems to be fairly focused, but "high output" is the only description and no "in the dark" photos. I know there is more to a lighting device than lumens, but some description of the light provided (written and photographic) would be very beneficial on their website. Thanks for the review !!

I spent 11 years on graveyard. I could see some potential for this on patrol.

Doesn't sure fire have an offering similar to this but not in a glove form? Almost like a wrist watch kind of thing if I remember right. But I agree with UW huge potential here.

Thanks - that is what I was looking for. I agree with "lots of potential".

Me and couple other guys suggested to Tim that version 2 needs to have variable intensity. It's good that its not blinding, its stealthy for tactical applications, but it could use a few more lumens. Not whitewash bright, but just a little stronger. I don't know the output rating on thses, but as an accessory, they are definitely handy and the gloves hold up really well. Not many people are going to come back for seconds after a backhand from one of those, that's for sure!
