For years we have been working on making handguards lighter and thinner.

With the success of our Gen 3 handguards which we have been rolling out to the market we have changed gears for a bit and decided to give bigger handguards a look.

Development and design came from the request of our customers to bring to market a handguard that will give the user the ability to attach their suppressor internally.

With this comes a whole new barrel nut and handguard that we really think folks will like.

With patents pending this is a first view of the MI-SP handguard line.

Having used the gen 3 for a little while now I can say I really like it. Great ergonomics and very solid rail and barrel nut. I think these will do very well! Great work Guys!

Awesome. I've been looking for a Rainier Arms FORCE replacement.

This is actually where keymod will be better. I doubt the nuts/screws on an m-lok accessory will clear the suppressor inside the handguard. And you might scratch the hell out of your can trying to install/remove it.

According to MI, they made the ID large enough for mlok accessories to clear most suppressors. I think ID is just under 1.75".

The I.D is 1.760. You can install M LOK accessories over the slots with a suppressor installed.

That's good. Some m-lok accessories have long screws, since the TDP allows for them to be up to .325" long. You'll probably still want to be really careful while installing or removing your can. :)

Will
you are correct about the screw length. You must use the short M Lok screws if mounting over a suppressor. We will be sending a set with the hand guards. :)

Yeah, I may need to find some shorter ones to send with our mounts. I can see someone using our inline mounts and having clearance issues, since we're on the longer side, and we don't use the same head style on the screws as Magpul.

Don't worry, I have a dremel ;)
