That looks great. Much nicer than what it ships with.

I still haven't seen one of these around my area. One of these in 6.5 would be killer

Agreed. Been thinking about getting one in that caliber. Turners Outdoorsman had a few a couple weeks ago. I should have jumped then. They had 308. Wonder if they can order the 6.5.

certainly better looking than the samson rail. also this rail looks better on a bolt vs an AR.

Man you guys aren't helping me to want one of these any less. Already trying to sell and hustle to get one of these RPRS and now this... oh man the pressure

I really like RPR, if only they made it left handed.

I'm hoping to land my hands on one this coming year.

I thought it takes standard AR handguards? What was required that you had to create new design?

Probably had to change the little bracket that provided the anti rotation interface and prevents the rail from sliding forward if the clamping screws are loosened. The RPR receiver looks too wide. I imagine a Geissele SMR probably won't fit for the same reason unless you mill off the anti rotation tabs.

We will be making a small run of 18 inch models for the 6.5 and .243 guns with longer barrels.

This looks really nice. As others have mentioned, I was also looking at getting one of these in 6.5CM.

What's the weight on this vs the stock Samson?

I weighed comparable 12 inch models. Our hand guard 1.8 oz heavier. Our unit also has seven effective usable sides and we feel our attachment method is much more rugged and rigid .
thanks

On a rifle that heavy the extra weight isn't an issue, I was just curious. Like I said before, looks like a really nice rail.
