I've been told 22 and 26 are the optimal barrel lengths for 6.5 Creedmore. How is the 18 compared to the longer barrels? I was leaning 22" for this build I've been on and off with, but for my purposes, don't see wielding gun with a 22 or 26" barrel, since I won't be taking 1200 yard shots.

Accuracy under 6-700 yards will remain unchanged with the 18" barrel. It may be even slightly better with equal profiles due to the shorter barrel being stiffer. Past 800 you will see the loss in velocity start to impact the round. I choose 26" heavy profile for my 6.5 I am slowly piling up the parts for mainly because I want to play with this past 1k. That said I am likely going to grab one of these 18" for a future build if the 6.5 lives up to my expectations in the 26".
