Most people among us are having more than one firearm. I want to know which one is the most favorite of all. I own glock and ruger. My favorite gun is Glock 42 as it is light, easy to use and carry around.

Exactly. I think most guys here have a lot of firearms... you have to be more specific.

Winchester model 71 my Grandfather bought new in 1937 and a Marlin 336 chambered in .35 Remington my Father purchased new in 1955 are my two favorites.

Well if I had to choose, maybe my 7mm Valkerie with the ambi CMT lower, love that lower, the 6.8 I gave my wife, my browning X-bolt....

Probably my Springfield Operator if I had to pick one. I don't generally buy guns without an intended purpose for them though, so I like each of my firearms for different purposes.

So much this. I'll break down a few categories though.

Rimfire pistol: 1957 Ruger Single Six 3-screw flattop, regripped in hand-carved black walnut and carried by my father from purchase to his death.
Rimfire rifle: 1975 Winchester 9422, recently gifted to my cousin because my father taught her to shoot with this carbine. Someday, I hope to do the same for her daughters.
Centerfire pistol: Because it's hard for me to get passionate about polymer-framed nines, I'll have to go with a cherry-picked Springfield Loaded 1911 (found one with an amazing trigger).
Centerfire bolt action: 1998 Ruger M77 MkII stainless/laminate in .243 Winchester - love the cartridge enough to be considering a few more in .243 (Tikka T3 Hunter).
Centerfire semi-auto: 16" Rainer Medcon 5.56 stainless middy over a Noveske N4 (STR stock, BCM BCG , SSA-E and BAD-ASS and Nikon 1-4x German #4 reticle). Was meh about this carbine until I got a Geissele in it, now it is lights-out.
Shotgun: 1907 Parker PH grade side-by-side, given to my father as a shoe-box gift (no stock, missing parts) in 1976 after our entire gun collection had been stolen. Re-browned and fitted with hand-carved, tung-oiled figured black walnut

I am polygamous when it comes to guns. [:D]

As for guns that were the most fun ever to shoot... A friend has a FA MP5 and an FA MP40... both supressed. I have to admit that was a very memorable experience having a range day with those.

As for guns that I own I am still digging the AR I built.

"Polygamous" Very good. :) I have a sentimental love for my first gun. Colt 1911. It was given to me by my (now) deceased father-in-law. He was a wonderful gunsmith and that gun will go toe-to-toe with any Wilson or other high-end 1911.

When people ask this question, I usually ask what's your favorite tool...hammer, wrench, pliers... [emoji3]

Some are just tools (Glock), but others are sexy pieces of functional art.*

By caliber:
.22LR *10/22 takedown with Kidd stuff
7.65mm (.32acp) Nazi FN Browning 1922
.38/.357 Tie - Rossi '92 lever w/action job and IMI pump
9mm Sig MK25 w/suppressor*
.45acp 1911 TRP
.300BLK 9" AAC SBR w/suppressor
5.56 - hopeless polygamist
*

Why do those pesky asterisks keep inserting themselves?

Funny enough the gun the family shoots the most is the MP15-22, tough finding .22 lately though.

And in an ironic twist with all the boutique/expensive ARs we have the budget Aero/Ballistic advantage 10.5 pistol probably gets by far the most rounds in 556.
