I've never owned an Anderson, but I have loads of friends who swear by them for the price. The finishes vary wildly from what I've seen but what do you expect from Kentucky rednecks?

On the good side this is one way to have an AR in every house.

I bought one of them from Primary Arms at that price. Shipping was $4.30 to my FFL. At under $40 you just can't go wrong.

Plus $25 for the transfer?

I used to think a forged lower was a forged lower but after seeing 2 Andersons that were severely jacked up I have changed my thoughts on that. I mean when a lower gets shipped to a dealer without the bolt catch roll pin drilled that's pretty bad. Finish is poor on most of their lowers also. I rather pay double for a Aero when in the scope of things most spend more on a Ambi safety.

I think PSA is about as cheap as you can get while still getting in spec receivers and uniform finish between receivers. Usually wait until their blems are on sale for 50 or 40 bucks, generally they come and are flawless. For 100 less than a Noveske chainsaw I would say they are probably better on finish, and identical in every other way other than roll mark.

Not when I have more than one at the FFL - they transfer with one fee on the same 4473 [:D]

I love it. I can get them locally for $50 which is only slightly better.
