New Dan Wesson's for 2016

If you know me then you know I am a big fan of Dan Wesson 1911's. I own many of their models and have run some of them pretty hard over the years without issues. They make an amazing product for the money.

Here are some of their new products for 2016. First on my short list will be their Long Slide in 10mm. Hog hunting in Texas will be a blast this year.

They also came out with a new commander.

Not a big fan of this one. They should've added a cutout for a Micro Red dot. This would have been a great way to go IMO.

I am already saving my pocket change for their 715 revolver and the CZ 1911. That long slide in 10mm just jumped to the top of my short list. The want is strong...

It also looks like a host of their current models will now come in 9mm and 10mm. Still waiting on a Valor in 38super...maybe next year.

Recently got a DW Guardian in 9mm and I've been very impressed with it so far. Fit and finish are solid and the blending is pretty good considering the price point. Swapped out the mainspring housing, grips, trigger and rear sight that's it. No need to modify or upgrade any more parts. It's become my primary carry gun.

The Guardian is lazer accurate for sure! My wife enjoys her's a lot. We did learn the hard way not to use grease on the rails and just stick with oil. Grease caused some cycling issues.

Drool...love me some 1911 and especially the dw flavor.. I have a heritage which is nice and accurate, a guardian is on my list...very nice pistols..

WOW the Valkyrie is gorgeous, I'd buy immediately if it was available here.

Got out a camera today and took some pics of my Guardian. THE only area of improvement could be the blending of the frame and beavertail. Its comfortable and functionally fine but the metal could stand to have a few mm smoothed out in order to form a perfect esthetic fit.
