woulda been nice had they done something like this about 7 stamps ago! [crazy]

[:D] Hopefully they can make it work past the 'Jack of all trades, master of none' theory. Having one can to run (most of) them all would be a great alternative. It is really nice to have a dedicated can tho... just really expensive. Luckily I'm a D.I.L.D.O. (formerally known as a D.I.N.K.) and have been able get a couple dedicated ones...

But for those not wanting to buy multiples, or find the expense too much, I see this as a great alternative. It may be the new 'gateway' can instead of the .22

Would like to get some more data for sure. I really like the idea of having one can that can serve multiple rifles/calibers.

Hmm looks like a similar concept to the a Griffin Armament Optimus. I wonder why Silencerco didn't post up the 5.56 numbers?

Looks like it's hovering around 130db. https://s3.amazonaws.com/com.silencerco/support/product-specs/hybridWEB.pdf

Was the dB testing done 3rd party? Just curious.

I'm not sure how the testing was performed...but I normally take manufacturers figures with a grain of salt. I would guess the dB ratings were attained using the same methods as figures published for their other suppressors. Historically though, I believe they've been pretty on par with the testing SilencerShop has posted in their video reviews.
