I wanted to share a cool project on here that I have been working on. I thought some of you guys on here might like it. Johnny Danger Photography sent me an image from his "POV" series of a Leupold MK6 in the Geissele Super Precision "Big Bertha" scope mount sitting on top of a Barrett M107A1. He sent me the plain white POV shot and said "What do you think you can do with this image to look cool? I was thinking of a composite image but that puts me out of my element. I'm thinking some guy looking down range at a hard target with a soft target inside like a suicide car bomber or something."

Funny enough, I had never done one of these before, but I had a pretty good idea of how to do it as I have quite a bit of experience with Photoshop. Anyway, after some trial and error, I thought the result was pretty cool! We may be doing more of these in the future.

Also, I apologize for the image quality. I compressed them in order to get them to upload easily on here!

I was wondering who was helping JD with the composites. Nicely done.

Thanks guys! They're actually pretty fun to make. I am working on another one with his T2 POV as well.

That is badass! Just curious, about how long does it take to do one of those?

Kind of depends... The first one took me quite a while to get things right and looking decently realistic (not to mention John contacted his sniper buddy in order to make it as accurate as possible), but this second one didn't take me more than an hour and a half or so, I believe.

I really enjoy doing these, and I think I'll be doing more for him.

That's not bad at all, especially considering time flies when you're in Photoshop haha. I'm definitely gonna have to try my hand at this sometime. Keep it up man!

It certainly does fly by haha. It's pretty easy to get the hang of after tinkering around with the first one until you figure out what works and what doesn't.
