Anyone have any experience with Nevada Ammunition? I found them through Instagram and I'm mainly looking at their .223 55gr reman. Just curious if anyone on here has dealt with them before and whether or not they put out a decent product.

Besides NV Ammo, what other bulk ammo would y'all recommend? Looking for 55-62gr, brass, and <$300/1k. That "2016 Election" thread has me scared shitless so I plan on picking up some .223 and .22LR before it's too late.

<$275/1k.
... if you can find 1k loaded rounds for less than $275, let me know (unless I read that wrong). Only thing I've seen for that kind of price is steel-cased ammo.

For some reason I thought I remembered it being $275 from NV Ammo. It's $285/1k for brass cased, remanufactured, 55 grain FMJ.

It probably use to be $275.

Heck, I remember seeing 1k .223 Wolf Gold in an ammo can for around $280 shipped.

With Wolf Gold running ~$300 for a 1,000 (and I thought I saw it somewhere recently for ~$290 shipped), I won't chance reman ammo to save a penny a round.

X2

Plus rolling your own is much cheaper

Thanks guys. NV also offers "new" ammo at $300/1k but it's currently unavailable. I think I'm leaning towards Wolf Gold at the moment. I've never bought bulk ammo before but I've heard lots of mixed things about Wolf over the years. Lots of people seem to like the "Gold" series though.

I've never had a problem with Gold. Out of the 600-700 ish rounds I've shot, no hiccups thus far.

The things you've heard may have been about their steel-cased ammo. But the Gold line is good to go.
