Any idea on the minimum barrel length on the .458 SOCOM?

This is a neat concept for your first silencer. However after that I think each silencer should have a dedicated host. Moving around from host to host you are going to have to recalibrate every time. Just my $.02.

100% my stance. Right tool for the right job. I look at silencers like scopes you pick what you are going to use it on and how you are going to use it and it stays with that gun.

16" for sure but any lower than that and you want to check with Liberty.

FYI it won't be hearing safe, so if you want one that is look at the Bowers VERS 458.

Yeah. Not a fan of the Bowers. Too big and heavy. Liberty has no minimum barrel lengths listed. I guess a phone call is needed for that answer. Thanks for the reply.

I just saw Liberty's notice regarding the Mystic X not being rated for 308. Will this guy support 7.62 rounds (supersonic)?

No. Not even rated for supersonic .300 BO. I honestly question how this can can take a .458 even out of a 16" barrel after just seeing that on their site.

It is not rated for 7.62/.308 supers only subsonic. They do say that they don't rate supers and the people kept running them in the silencer and not reading that it is only rated subs.

It is rated for supersonic 300 Blackout. It is rated for the same calibers as the Mystic X.

You better fix your web page then. Lists subsonic for .300BO.
