I bought an UPUR-1LH for my SBR build and let it sit in the "to be built" bin. Well, I saw a post about a sticky bolt, and thought I'd double check my upper. Unfortunately, I had a sticky bolt. Well, I called CMT last week to explain the problem. All I they asked me to do is send them a pic I took, and a email to remind them of the conversation. 30 minutes later, I get an email with a tracking number. Today I got the upper, and the bolt works smoothly. Return postage is in the box, and we are good to go!

The two I've built so far both were very tight initially. After the first range trip they feel like every other AR.

What is this sticky bolt you speak of ?
The bolt would not move freely in the old receiver. I could stand the receiver up on end and it would stay. New one slides through nicely, but not sloppily.

I haven't had any problems with my single alone sad and lonely upper. I'm headed to Rainier tomorrow to pick up an order but I'm contemplating grabbing a back up Stag lh bcg in the rare chance I get that I get a CMT upper in my cart before you and Sinner horde then next batch [BD]

LOL I am commited to all mine. I bought CMT lowers and the BCG's for all of them. When all that crap with Stag losing their FFL happened I bought the BCG's for all five then decided to just get the lowers too.

CMT are hands down some of the best people I have ever dealt with. On top of that their products are fantastic (as everyone here already knows).

I drove 120 miles to run some errands and stop by Rainier to pick up an order and I inquired about the lh upper and was told they had no idea when they were gonna be in stock . I left their about 20 min before closing and headed home arriving around 11. I checked my email and saw a product back in stock notification and wtf do you know the lh upper is back in stock . E-mail arrived 20 mins after I left the shop . I ordered one but am not happy after that shit . I'm by no means a huuuge spender like some of their clientele but Ive spent almost $2k last month alone with them and this kinda chaps my ass...........rant over

Anyone that needs or wants a Left Handed CMT upper... Just spoke to Jeff he just sent a large shipment of them to Rainier. Should be dropping any day now.

It's also nice that Rainier has Stag lefty BCGs. However, if you want an HP/MPI bolt, you'll need to get it from Stag.

Yeah too bad it's a billet upper. I don't have any billet lowers to park it on, but do plan to order the stag lefty bcg here at some point soon.
