So... who makes a quality 80% lower and jig that won't break the bank? Standard ar15, forged, etc...

80% Arms... haven't used one, but I've got a few buddies who have milled them out. They seem to be quality.

You know a liberal dies in his sleep every time you finish one right? [BD]

Modulus arms sells them and they have a nice fixture. I have not used one of there's. I started out with a fixture and 80% from Watkins tooling out of Denver. Had the stepkid, son in law both built there's with there fixture. Kit came with a 3 flute carbide endmill. You had to furnish your own .156, and .375 drill. Here's a few places to buy 80%
Tactical machining, Andersen and
Mas defense, all 3 showed in stock and shipped right away.

Daytona tactical showed in stock took them 2 weeks to ship.

JL Billet are probably the nicest 80's I've used but they are pricey. New Frontier Armory are the best bargain IMO. Hard to beat a 7075 billet lower for $80. They are a popular lower that many "manufacturers" use.

I have a couple of the Stealth Arms jigs. Got them for like $25 each but there are jigs available at around $50. Blitzkrieg Tactical has some nice 80% receivers too.

This is the pistol I've almost finished with the JMT 80% receiver I bought from Uwone - just waiting on a dust cover to arrive.
