Offset Surefire scout mount for picatinny rail

Anyone have any preferences for a scout mount? I love the Arisaka keymod offset mount. I'm hoping for something similar for a picatinny mount. I'm thinking that the Haley strategic thorntail SBR mount can work. I wonder if that's reversible. I'd like to mount it on the 9 I clock and hang it over to the 10:30 position

The Thorntail is reversible. I've had good luck with mine, especially on my MK18 which has seen a bunch of use. That said, I know UW isn't happy with them and has seen them snap.

I'm going to need another Scout mount soon and I'm not sure if I'll need it at 3 o'clock or at 10:30, but I've been eying the Gear Sector ones, as well.

Ah. That version does look pretty awesome. Nothing similar coming out from Arisaka?

Yeah the Mod 3 is the way to go on the offset picatinny mount. I've used the Mod 1 and 2 extensively, and they are just fantastic. I don't think Slippers wants to make something to compete with it, unless he's bringing marked improvement to the mount.

Cool. I'll definitely pick one up once I finish the rifle. I'm sure the mod 6 will be coming out then.
