Seems like it's a m1a upper mated with a ar10 style lower. I'm pretty interested to see where this heads.

I like M1A's, but that looks terrible to me.

It seems the actual product is a little different than the drawing. I'll wait to see the final product. I just like that it's something different

I like everything about the drawing other than where the "upper" mates just in front of the stock. Fix that and I'll love it (as a concept).

That part is a little weird. I was also looking forward to the continuous upper rail which doesn't seem to have made it

I am going to assume it's still in design to keep that feature. Otherwise, it'll be a failure.

I just assumed it'll be part of the handguard like any AR15. I didn't get that idea from the drawing you posted though.

But why though? If you're going to try that hard to emmulate an AR-15, why not just go the AR-10 route.

Granted I'm not going to lie, being the Garand snob I am, that's kinda cool.

But still, if I were going to get an M1A and "modernize" it, I'd probably throw it in a EBR chassis.

Still won't be as accurate as an AR10.

I appreciate the effort in trying new things, but is the juice worth the squeeze in this instance?
