I placed an order with this company over a month ago. The person I called ASSURED me that my order for $1266.21 (A Nightforce scope) was in stock and would ship that Friday, or the next Monday.

After waiting for 15 days with numerous excuses such as "It's too hot in AZ where our warehouse is", and "Our tracking is down, but it shipped..." etc. I demanded a refund. Sadly, the CC I used was hacked shortly after purchase (hmmm...but not pointing fingers...), and I needed a check sent. The same mess has followed with the request for a check, which was made on Aug 5, and acknowledged. It now has almost been ANOTHER 15 days, and the dealer erased all comments on their FB page that stated that "The scope has shipped". However, they could not delete our FB messages. In the morning, I will be contacting Capital One's fraud department and submitting both my order screenshot, and this facebook conversation as evidence of going above and beyond to work things out with a merchant, and requiring a refund and whatever legal proceedings they deem adequate. I am sure Bravo Defense can..."respect that process"...

ETA:

Oops...looks like they missed a few comments I'd made previously...

I actually just found a REPUTABLE place (BBB accredited, in-store stocking, 70+ years history etc.) that has some of these exact scopes in stock. I'll update with how THAT turns out after that order is placed. I bought one earlier this year from another store not 30 minutes from where these are...

Did they quit making 1-4 NXS scopes with the FC-2? Or was it another scope?

Yes, in 2013. Not only that, but the 2013 models were the first that got all the modern coatings currently in use, the PTL, and zerostop was available, so it's kindof a real unicorn. 1 year production. The 2014 models saw the fc2 go away.

I refuse to buy used optics because I'm snobbish about my glass. I mount optics with very optic specific torque, mic ring gaps, account for use of loctite effect on k factor, etc. Is it necessary? Likely not. However, it makes me happy, and let's be honest, some people are truly dense and will over torque the hell out if a scope. Maybe just ignorant. I actually deformed a milspec m1014 barrel with a flashlight mount once, so I know how potent ring compression can be. All I used was a little Allen wrench, too!

They posted a thing August 2nd referring to their server issues and refunds. I wonder if other people are having trouble with refunds as well.

I don't see any other comments so either people aren't mad or they are deleting anything that gets posted (or not allowing it)

They deleted my comments "So it already shipped, then, and I might actually get it before a refund" and their responses that yes, that WAS the case. They just failed to kill our original conversation because it took place so damn long ago that I guess they forgot about it. I didn't. Checked my mail today...no check or scope. Surprise.

Got my credit from C1, ordered a FC-2 ZS 2013 new-old stock from another vendor. BBB accredited, verified in stock via phone. They have 2 more, but sinner wont clean out his PMs, so I can't tell him where to buy one new for $1199...

Cleaned out now. Lol let me know if you would be so kind.

PM sent, and yeah, there is only 1 left, now. I got a phone call + UPS tracking, so I'm pretty sure, along with them updating stock as "1 left" that it's legit.

Ordered mine this morning. It immediately went to out of stock so it seems their inventory is accurate. Thanks again for the heads up.

I saw that, too. So much for that. I think I have, or am responsible for, finally buying every last FC-2 reticle NIB NF that remained in the wild, lol!

I wonder if they will change an optic to that reticle still? I had them change one on a bench rest optic a few years back and the cost was reasonable. Might be an option for someone looking for that reticle in the future.

I honestly don't know. I do know that Euro Optic told me they still get limited runs of FC-2's, but I kindof call BS on that. I did as NF's .mil division about it, and they said "NO", however, they also said they do not know what the civilian side of the house is doing, and it's possible that they are contracted through EO to provide a limited number per year or something.

Very nice! The mount looks like a perfect fit on that optic.
