Hello Everyone,

I've seen the Lantac Dragon on the market for a while and it's one of those things that has been on the list to check out. Recently we were sent a sample to run and gun with. I had the opportunity to shoot it at a match in a variety of conditions, as well as at the range with some drills. While this may not be right for some uses, if you're looking for a great muzzle brake, this fits the bill. I was impressed how well it worked and wasn't as obnoxious as I expected. Looking forward to getting their new Blast Mitigation Device soon to check out as well.

Thanks for watching!

Nice review Dave - thanks. I put a thirty cal dragon on a 16" 308. Worked extremely well as a brake; side blast was definitely an issue. The main problem I had was the 308 fireball out of the dragon. Even in bright daylight, the target was completely obscured every shot. Below is a late evening shot of the dragon in action on a Sig 716 Patrol Rifle.

I purchased a can for the 308, and replaced the dragon with a BC 51.30. No more fireball issues (with or without the suppressor). Really liked the dragon's performance, but was a beast on the 308. I did not see this type of problem in your video on the 5.56 version.

I didn't have any noticeable or distracting flash so far with the 556 version. Hopefully in the future I will give the 308 version a shot.
