Citizen Soldier is a first person video/interview format of a National Guard team out of OKC. deployed 2011 to 2012. I love shows like these that show the brotherhood these young men build up so they can depend on it when they're wallowing in the shit over in the stahn. There is plenty of contact, but sadly one of the friendliest leaders is killed in an IED vs. Hummer explosion. You are in the shit with these brave young men as they deal with tarp headed assholes, grief and yet are able to drive on. There's funny scenes, butt puckering scenes and extremely emotional scenes, but's as real as anybody's life and I was grateful these guys let me tag along for an hour and a half. Great show. OOH-RAH!
