Well I finally had a few minutes to take pics of my new BCG by Parallax Tactical. I had every intention of using this in my new upper receiver build. However I am now having second thoughts. Don't get me wrong, this BCG is beyond cool but the upper I'm building has an AXTS 16" Stainless Steel Shilen 1:7 Barrel. Logic would dictate that I must use an AXTS Nitride BCG and AXTS ambi CH. If I go with the AXTS parts, the only thing gnawing at my OCD would be that the upper is a Bootleg 223 Wylde and the rail I went with is a Parallax Tactical PXT 13" FFSSR Rail. Damn it!

AXTS BCG and CH ordered. I guess I'll have to see which BCG I prefer with the AXTS barrel. It is a bad ass barrel and I can hardly wait to see how it performs.

Bought 3 of these carriers several years back. They work very well. Not sure if I like the "gold" but they work as well as my NiB Carriers. The Gen 2's are definitely not as "blingy" as the Gen 1's.

I wonder if the Gen1 and the Gen2 perform any differently and what the reasoning was for making the changes to the Gen2 the way they did? Is it better than the Gen1 somehow?
