Anybody running this setup? It looks as though it might not make a 13.7" barrel to 16" by just a bit. Has anybody done this? How did it turn out?

Thinking about doing this but want to confirm a 16" OAL.

Are there any other long flash hiders that might work?

Going to use this on my WEVO cerakote that Axlnt did for me.

BE Meyers or a Noveske KX5 both take a 13.7" to 16.1. I'm sure I've heard of others but I just can't recall. Maybe one of the Surefire's

M4C has an active thread in this at the moment.

Some Meyers devices work. The ASR version is too short for 13.7 (but will work on 14" barrel). The saker version will work on 13.7. Weapon Outfitters includes in the description that it works when used with the washer.

I only know that the 249F works for sure.

I don't like having to use shims to get to the legal length.

What is the advantage of trading barrel (and presumably, velocity) for a muzzle device? I got the 14.5"/permanently attached device as most of them are 1.5" easily, but I don't understand giving up the velocity for the same barrel swing?

Nothing.

The 13.7" barrel exists to satisfy people who wanted KX3's originally. The BE Meyers 249F however, is the best FH in the market performance wise. It's so long however, I can see why some wanted a 13.7" vs 14.5"

If shooting at 300 yds and in you are not sacrificing much, if anything. I want the shortest overall package with the be Meyers if it works. Plus I just like how it looks.

I run that setup with the saker mounts. You must use the precision shims to make length. I got mine from weapon outfitters. Give me a sec to get a photo of my builds. I have 2 setup with 13.7" barrels and be meyers

I'm running this barrel

Due to law changes I may have to sell it though. The barrel unless I can find a surefire socom. That is supposed to make length as well.

BE Meyers Solid Washer can also bring other BE Meyers ASR/Trifect Mounts up to the legal length on a 13.7"
