Sig Arm Brace Cerakote?

I am currently building an AR pistol that is going to have a sig arm brace on it. Has anyone here ever tried to Cerakote one of these, and was it successful? I am worried about the flexible nature of the arm brace, and that the Cerakote would just chip off. Any suggestions?

Won't work, for exactly the reasons you state. If you want to cerakote go Thordsen or Blade.
