There's actually an old thread here on wevo about doing this: http://www.weaponevolution.com/forum/showthread.php?2077-AR-15-Spare-Parts-Storage

Yep that's what I use. Works great for keeping up with small parts

That's what I do too. A clear lidded box that secures against the tops of the dividers.

I use something similar as well. Picked mine up at a local craft store, works well.

I have several of these in larger sizes for guitar parts, but oddly, I keep all my crap in those little zip lock bags in a DSG parts kit box. Their LPK's are well worth the price!

Same thing I use. But as I'm too lazy to keep track of inventory I inevitably have to open another parts kit way too often. That's when those minimalist kits w/o trigger, guard and grip come in handy.

I like these: https://sonsoflibertygunworks.com/products/rifle-builder-kit?variant=3083616065

I do that for 1911 parts. Pretty sure I have the exact same plastic case too
