I just got issued a new LWRCI DI rifle to replace my Colt 6920. The DI is money minus the perpriatory rail.

Did you get the model with the MLOK rail?

Love their piston rifles. That is pretty sweet.

I could not get the photos to post directly for some reason. I need to move the optic back too.

Oh and sorry for the substandard pics.

A little help, since we all like pictures.

Wait a minute, I didn't think military hardware like that had a place on the streets of Maryland?

Is that an IR silencer on the clip? That's just a total machine of destruction. I bet it has one of those enhanced bolt things too? What about the semi- autonomous grip? Typical military wannabees!

At least it's not an SBR...? It does rub me wrong when LEO can have what is denied to the public (when it comes to rights). Not that I think you shouldn't have it, but Joe Public should be able to have it too.

Nice duty gun.

SBR's are still legal in Maryland and are not subject to the FSA of 2013. This rifle as are all of LWRCI's rifles are Maryland compliant. The only thing banned by FSA2013 were a few specific manufactures like Bushmaster and the M4 barrel profile. If you buy or build after 10/2013 it must be a HBar if it's a .223 or 5.56. AR pistols are good to go too.

Okay so it's like most gun laws and are absolutely absurd and make no sense. Or detract from actual crimes. So stupid.

The previous post was no poke against you. Gun laws just frustrate me. Lol

Calico,

Unless you have clearance issues, you can remove the Picatinny rail from the Gear Sector mount, and then the Picatinny clamp from your Streamlight RM2, and direct mount the light body to the Gear Sector. Will knock a fair bit off the vertical profile. :)

Jason does use red loctite on the screws for the Picatinny rail, though. I had to drill them out on mine.

Nice rifle!

Yeah I am going to have to figure something else out. I like the 2 o clock mount vs the 3 o clock mount. That setup was great on my 6920 with Colt FSB. This set up works but is less than ideal.

No my department and state is actually pretty strict in regards to asset forfeiture. Grants and budget rangling.

I was just razzing you. I know that model is about half what the piston versions go for, and there was probably a discount in there somewhere
