Aim Surplus 16" QPQ Barrel w/ Pinned Gas Block

I apologize for the sub par photos. I took these with my I-telephone last night before going to bed

There was some discussion about the source of the Aim Surplus barrels in the deals thread, well I couldn't pass up $120 to my door for a presumably high quality barrel with a pinned gas block. I promised pics of it when it showed so here we go. I will add, their shipping was on point. I ordered it at 0630 Wednesday and got delivery confirmation at 1240 Friday. Very impressive. Anyway...

The barrel came heat sealed in a plastic sleeve, it was packed really well in the shipping box, not pictured. It also included a gas tube roll pin.

Finish looked good on the barrel, no blemishes or defects and the block was solidly pinned

There were no random BA markings, and I do not have a BA barrel to compare, but the consensus earlier was that these are BA barrels

Aside from the standard caliber/twist markings, I found this forge mark, at least I believe its a forge mark

That's all I have for now. It will be going on my current build once my Fortis rail arrives next week. Cheers. I can take better pictures of a certain part tonight if need be.

Barrel Looks really good! Markings and finish looks just like BA. That's a great deal for what I bet is a great barrel. Ill add a photo for comparison.

Nice, wonder if they make that in a thin lightweight profile. Sure would save a lot of work! Just attach gas tube and tighten down....

FT, they do. It's $210 with the pinned block.

Thanks, may score one of these for my last, or next to last project, as soon as I see if my P80 "PLOCK" runs o.k. or not.

Wanted to get axlnut to paint me a multi-cam pattern rifle.

Is it very difficult to get the pin in the gas block out and back in when installing the barrel nut? Thanks

No, just a little hammer work and a punch
