Recommend a Hand Guard (Light is the key here)
Looking for a very light 13 or preferred 15" hand guard. The V7's look real good, but at $320 I don't know if they're that good. Also would prefer Keymod, but I'm flexible. So many companies selling so many guards that I've got eyestrain from searching. I can step up to the plate and get the V7 if there's no other options for equally decent product at a better price.
Thanks ahead for your help.

You may want to checkout a 2A Armament BL RAIL GEN 1 KEYMOD 15". Weighs 9.4 oz with barrel nut, which is less than both the V Seven and BCM Alpha. I have a M-LOK version and it's been pretty good so far. They are on sale now.

I believe the Fortis Rev II is also close to 9oz and comes in a 14" and you can get Keymod or MLOK.

I like the BCM Alpha KeyMod handguards if you want to go KeyMod. I also like Centurion Arms CMR KeyMods.

I think you are crossing into aluminum can territory.

You're like a mad scientist over there. What ya got cooking in the lab? A super light rifle build?

What about the Hodge/Mega Wedgelock? Consider carbon fiber?
