Still looking for this part in .556.
Every place I've checked that claimed to have these had the v.2 and I don't want a glorified brake.There's no "Team" in F**K YOU!

The v2 flash comp isn't a brake or a glorified brake. I have a Griffin brake on my .308 and I shot it recently when I forgot to put my ear pro on - holy crap that woke me up and I doubt I'll ever forget to put my ear pro again before shooting that. My flash comp 2.0 is on my 5.56 (actually, 3 of them now) and I really like them. Much flatter shooting than an A2 FH, not noticeable change in percussion or noise, although it does appear to increase the back pressure a bit as my ejection pattern moved forward one or two notches on the clock.
