I've been told they need to be installed, shrunk on, and then sealed. Not plug and play as it appears. If you get better, more accurate info, let me know. Nothing like a face full of freedom as you put it!

I can vent your factory 10.4 block no problem, at this point I’ve done quite a few.

They are a bear to bore through with a .035” drill bit but as I said I’ve done several at this point, the cost is $195 plus return shipping.

It's a US made clone of the HK23E. Here's the other side with the belt box removed and the feed mechanism swung down.

Very interesting guns, considering their lineage. An early version of the 23E was submitted as the XM262 for the SAW trials and almost won. The E (export) models can swap between 5.56 and 7.62 in a couple minutes by changing the bolt group, barrel, and feed mechanism.

On a quick note, after chatting with Justin about the 416 vent conversion, I've decided I'm not doing it. If you end up doing it, I've VERY curious to see how it works for you.
