Nice MPX, how do you like it?

Thanks. I'm liking it a lot, but am slightly underwhelmed. Spending time tearing it down and getting familiar with it, you can see where Sig cut corners. Not exactly what one wants to see on a gun in this price range. But that said, I'm really excited to get out and shoot it. The trigger really sucks bad, and is by far the worst AR type trigger I've ever felt. I spent some time with a Dremel and polishing compound doctoring the engagement surfaces and got it feeling a lot better. But Geissele can't release their trigger for the MPX soon enough.

I can only get this to cycle 50% of the time with the BAD buffer system. 300blk Supersonic 110gr Ozark ammo. This isn't the upper's regular home but a sweet looking PDW.

So how's the Dead Air Pyro? Worth the $250?

I got it for $180, partly to test rail clearances and play with the locking system while waiting for the sandman.

There's a significant difference between it and the flash hider in muzzle rise. I don't notice the concussion to the shooter like I do from typical brakes. I've not had someone standing nearby to ask how it sounds to the side.

I had a machinist chop the Dead Air brake to shorten as much as possible. I have a sandman in jail for this pocket rocket.

Awesome, how do you like it? I've recently been debating using V7's 8.25" Blackout barrel on an upcoming project, one that admittedly, you kinda inspired me on.
