The PEPR Mount is serviceable, it's more of an inside joke.

There are much better (lighter, more secure mounting, less clunky) options than the PEPR though.

I just got this 6.5" built and tested with the PDW in the pics above. Not reliable with that stock. Weather was bad so I stopped testing. Depending on weather tomorrow, I'll give it a proper go.

I have the 8.25 too. I like it. The Omega 9k sits in it. Light, nimble all around. I have it in the Falkor rail with the can tucked. I've only tested, sighted for 25 yards because that's its HD mission.

    Thanks, Axlnut.

Aragorn, quick follow up. I got the 6.5" out today. Carbine H2 buffer. Locks back with 110gr and 147gr but not 220gr (all Ozark). The 220 will lock back once suppressed. Soft shooter for being so short.

Good to know. How's the 8.25 run in comparison? More reliable or anything of note? I'm feeling a little sketchy on going shorter than that, even with 300Blackout, just due to velocity reasons. I won't be running suppressed.

1 part sniper grey, 1 part tactical grey, and 2 parts burnt bronze. Under natural light it is more brown. Here's pic made of the swatches of the mixes.

I really love the way the Mini-4 looks. If I was in the market for a new 5.56 can, I'd seriously consider one. Do you run a flash hider or brake under it with that barrel length?
