Anyone know what this is for?

I found this in my parts bin but I cannot future our what it is or what it’s for. It may go to another part I’ve not installed.

Looks like part of a trigger but it was in bag with a roll pin.

    Any help is appreciated.

I carry mine in my pocket until I get enough to buy a drink out of the vending machine at work.

Throw it in the trash. Why? Because immediately on the departure of the trash bag, you will remember what you needed it for. Not a minute sooner.

Looks like a bolt stop I've seen somewhere before.

Thanks guys for the suggestions! I’ll keep poking around in my gear to see what’s missing.

Reminds me of when I was a kid and we would drill a hole in a quarter and tie a string to it. Drop it in the pinball machine and pull it out, 500 credits later.
