I got Salomon hiking shoes for the whole fam dam. They don't draw hiker cred here, but when ya know, you gotta have 'em. Best off-road running shoes gettable. So, that bled at least another trigger and a rail off the toy fund for the black weekend.

I ordered from Geissle on the 26th and hadn't gotten a shipping email yet so I emailed them and they told me it will be 4-6 weeks before I see my order.

Yesterday I was supposed to get a new tattoo machine I ordered and surprise no unit. When I called UPS they said my building didn't exist. I explained I had been receiving packages from them for 10 years there and I saw their truck deliver packages to the storefront attached to me.
The nice foreign lady I could barely understand said they would call me and get it there today. Sigh glad I have insurance

Reminds me of when I tried to ship some gun parts and related stuff at the UPS store. Woman was almost indignant informing me they wouldn't ship or touch anything even remotely related to guns, including scopes or any sighting system even for bows, gun belts (can you freaking believe that?) nothing, nada, and goodbye! Took my stuff to FedEx, no problem. A couple of days later, I get my shipment of 500 round cans (2) of ammo. Ammo from AIM surplus, delivered by.................wait for it...........UPS. F UPS and all things UPS related. I'm sure they don't give a rat's ass about my "money" until another carrier comes to call, including FedEx, DSL and if business taxes come down, possibly more players from overseas.
