What? You don't have yours ordered already?

Apparently they are the tits. Not sure when the order will be fulfilled, but got one of each. I plan to shoot them on dedicated guns for awhile.

This is the worst best news I've heard. I'll start saving and get one in five or so years. Any MSRP? Looks not much bigger than their 1-4

Damn! I wish those had come out before I bought my Sig 1X6. I love the Sig Tango 6, and think the reticules are much more my speed on the Tango, but I'd almost give that up for the 1X8X24. That extra 2X would really make a difference for "bourbon aged" old eyes.

Just noticed the NX8 has a $1715 price tag, High but not as high as I expected.

Same size and weight as the 1-4x24, so I think that a big win-win. Also the price is on par with other optics in their lineup.

    T Rex,
I'd bet their will some fairly discounted prices on them after Christmas. Because they're so new, I might be wrong, but I have a feeling their will be..

I believe these aren't even rolling out to the general public until after SHOT.

You can barely get decent consumer discounts on old NF optics. Doubt you'll see any on this for awhile.

Discounts for the lucky secondary market buyer. But I do plan to pick up the NX8 in 2018. Been holding back buying another optic in anticipation of this loooong-awaited reveal.

The release says its daylight bright. We’ll see about that. It’s pointless, for me, if the battery life sucks because I never remember to turn it off.

Either way between this and a Vortex razor 1-6 that has a 1/4 weight reduction (E model) I'm pretty excited for optics this year. Better get to selling shit off though

Benefits to this over the Trijicon 1-8?

I was thinking about a PSTII 1-6x but I really want that extra little bit of magnification.

I have a Trijicon 1-8, the Trijicon is longer and heavier than this is going to be.
