I bought a Zev slide for my non MOS 17, because I have my own aversion of sending off and never to be seen again for several months or even just one month really.

However if I were to to now send off, I wouldn't be out of a gun because I still have it functional but the only cut I'd be interested in is the MOS cut so I wouldn't be held hostage to just one mounting pattern either.

I may actually do the above, and then sell my Zev slide RMR cut afterwards. Hmmmm....

    I'd just get a Gen 5 MOS.

Getting an optic cut is going to cost you what? Almost $200? That's basically 40% of the way to a new Glock.

I like Jagerwerks and ATEi for slide work. I'm sure there are a plethora of others who will do excellent work as well. Those are just the two I have experience with.

I've only used Jagerwerks. I was very pleased with the milling.

I'm leaning that way for the 17, but there is no such thing as G26 MOS

Interesting, Jerry, thanks. Made me poke around a bit more. Apparently they've been available in Europe for a while. Glock doesn't have them on their US website but it looks like a distributor might have brought some in. Not many of them out there so they seem to be going for over $600.

So a G28 thing maybe where some snuck in legally then?

I want to see a G25. Owning one would make the internet's operators mad. Perfect!

Very Nice. They did one for me, and it was well done.

Jerry, are those 10-8 sights specific to that Trijicon optic? I just finished my, now second, 43X, this one a MOS. Besides the cost of new internals which set me back about another 3 bills, I cheaped out and bought a Holosun, still about 4 bills more. Now I'd like to add a set of sights to go with the dual rectical sight.
    Thanks,

Sorry ... that photo was a quote from Boiler Up. Not my pistol. I went with Leupold DPP (attached rear sight) and a Dawson Precision front.

FortTom, sorry for the delay as I was out of town.

I don't think the 10-8 optic height sights are RMR specefic, but it's really going to come down to the RDS design. One reveiw on the 10-8 website said they are happy with them on a 43X with direct mill slide for 507C, so that sounds encouraging. I'm guessing that anything besides a Leupold DPP should be fine, as the Leupolds are thicc.

    Front Sight: https://www.10-8performance.com/gloc.../#write_review
    Rear Sight: https://www.10-8performance.com/gloc...ht-rear-sight/

I'll tell you what: buy a set and if they don't work out I'll buy them off you as I still have a G17 to setup with an RMR.
