    Weekend Site Improvements

Some of you may have noticed some slight structural changes over the weekend, the most significant of which was the creation of an all-new "How To Guides" board in the Weapon Evolution Resource Center. Most of these features were already available on the site, but finding them just wasn't an especially intutive process. As a stand-alone feature, these will be much easier to spot in the future -- and we do plan to significantly expand this area.

We've also clarifed the major sections of the site by more clearly delineating them as such ...

Section I - Weapon Evolution News & Information Area
Section II - Weapon Evolution Resource Center
Section III - Weapon Evolution Discussion Area

... these revised section headings help to underscore our foundational elements: information, evaluation and discussion.

Finally, some adjustments were made in Section III - Weapon Evolution Discussion Area to help address some of your questions about which posts ultimately belonged where. Board descriptions were rewritten, and the most significant change was the redesignation of a Components & Accessories Discussion board, which formerly contained a significant number of cross-posted threads as the New Weapons & Accessories board. In conjunction with this effort, many posts were quietly moved into the most relevant sub-board, which should help to make things clearer as we grow.

Extra credit: If you know what a "favicon" is, then yes -- one of those showed up over the weekend, too. :)

Late-breaking change: Effective this morning, you may also have noticed a subtle change to the default font size used in posts and thread headers.

    We went from this ...

... to what you're seeing here.

This is a result of a coding change on the forum, and not anything associated with your computer or display configuration.
