    Forward Controls Design 6310 (5/8x24)

Following the release of 1/2x28 threaded 6315 is the 6310 threaded for 308 and .300 Blackout ARs http://www.forwardcontrolsdesign.com/6310_p_127.html

The number 63 in its name pays homage to the Stoner 63 LMG, as both 6315's and 6310's ports drew inspiration from the Stoner 63 LMG's flash suppressor.

6310 differs from the normal 308 flash suppressors in that it's based on M16 A2 comp TDP, which means it's shorter than the typical 308 AR flash suppressors. An Armalite AR10 factory "A2" is 2.04", while 6310 comes in at 1.8". 0.2" isn't a big deal, but if it's not necessary, then we'll do without it.

6310 is very close to 6315 in dimensions. Due to the bore size, the grooves aren't deep enough for a BFA, but you won't want to run a 5.56mm BFA on a 308 AR anyway.

Like 6315, 6310 has asymmetrical ports, its 3 and 9 o'clock ports and smaller and shorter than the 3 upward facing ports, this arrangement vents more gas upward than side ways, which doesn't do a thing to tame the muzzle rise.

Flash performance is similar, I'd venture to say better than the longer factory fare, you be the judge Do note that the test was conducted with a shorter than typical length you'd find on a 308 AR, so the flash is more pronounced, this was done on purpose to gauge the effectiveness of the design.

As soon as I get my B&T Rotex suppressors I'll be using your muzzle devices on everything. :)

On a 308 AR, the 0.2 difference seems more noticeable than it warrants, mostly I'm not used to seeing an M16 A2 sized device on such a large rifle

It amuses me too, it's funny the well trained shipping monkey gets brought up often enough, it's like an FCD spin off lol.

Haha, I think folks might not take kindly to things made by a monkey, or for a monkey (monkey models are not so great), funny as it would be.
