Well, my box only had a rear. Went through it and looked all around and couldn't find a front. I wasn't to impressed about that, but I don't know if that's how they do it, or it was a quality issue, and they missed putting one in the box.

EDIT: I went to their description page and it does not list the caps. "Included in box - Scope, Lens Cloth- Battery.

But for the price Eurooptics gave me with my military discount, I can forgive them and spend 8 dollars and some change for a new one.

Just out of curiosity, did they mention it in the video, or offer an explanation. Seriously, I'm not all that worried about it, I've got one on the way for about $8.00, no shipping, but is is odd that they would do that.

I prefer the reticle on the nx8, at least the mil/mil.

Eyebox isn't as tight as people seem to make it out to be. I'd say its about on par with USO's and right below Kahles.

I think it depends on what you're looking for. Price...can't argue with you there for MSRP. But who pays that? Otherwise, I think the Vortex has a more precise reticle at the center if you're shooting for groups (or small targets at distance) given the 1.75 MOA dot on the NX8, but otherwise I'm with voodoo_man. I've found it to work pretty well everywhere else and the sub-tensions are easier to find. And so far I haven't had eye-box issues, even in unconventional positions.

Finally took my NX8 to the range. Daytime bright had me sold. It's also compact enough to run on an SBR. So far I like it. I'll probably get another later.

Ehhh.....well glad you guys are happy with it. I was eagerly awaiting its arrival when word broke of its impending release and in the end felt ultimately disappointed after it hit the streets. Maybe I’ll warm up to it later.....maybe when the new hotness drops there will be plenty to go after on the used market.
