Glock G45

Looks like Glock is going to release a G45. A Glock 45 appears to be a Glock 19X with front slide serrations and the standard Gen 5 black.

Anyone speak German?

Exactly. Most people don't want a 17 frame with shorter slide.

I actually had my 17 frame cut down for 15 round magazines.

I want a Gen5 19 MOS.

The advert is talking about orange followers in the mags for round count recognition in low light maybe? My technical german is not great.

Is this a thing that glock does now? I haven't been following new glock stuff for almost a year and a half now.

Apparently you can divide ass by half. My dad used to tell me to quit half-assing things a lot. It wasn't really that often, it just felt like it at the time. And when he said it - he wasn't wrong.

Minor, but I figured they could pick a different model for a new 9mm, than a Glock 45.

Not a big deal, but I can definitely see one of these conversations. Hey do you have a Glock 45? You mean the new 9mm? No, a Glock .45. Oh... a .45. Right, the 45 is a 9mm.

My G17 Gen 5 has orange followers. It is a bit easier / quicker to determine mag load level compare to the black followers.

I have big hands, so I generally prefer the 17 over the 19.
