I'm currently building out a Glock 17 upper with a Silencerco threaded barrel to use on my P80 lower.

I bought an Agency Arms 417 compensator and I have a couple questions:

I am concerned that the comp will come undone and lock up the gun. Despite their marketing, the little hole in the bottom (which captures the guide rod) does not work 100% to keep the comp centered if it comes loose. I've had it lock up several times just racking the slide manually with dummy rounds. I purposely did not crank the set screws down super hard, and it came loose very quickly.

SO, should I use Rocksett on the muzzle threads, or just the set screws? (in which case I'd use anti-seize on the muzzle threads).

I don't plan to use this for a carry gun so reliability is not SUPER important, but still I don't like to have any guns that could potentially become unusable because of a silly, completely avoidable problem.

SO, 2nd question: is a comp worth the trouble on a Glock 17?

Lastly, I've read several accounts of Rocksett failure after a short time. Should I consider using Loctite 680 (green) or something like that instead?
