Does this mean my reaction rod is now obsolete?

Yes, but to be fair the Reaction Rod was obsolete when it came out.

The idea for the Windham/2UniqueLLC/Midwest Ind. type barreling jigs came first. > https://www.ar15.com/forums/AR-15/An...g-/118-721634/

I'm pretty sure that the idea for the Reaction Rod originated at KAC.

Pretty cool! Thanks for the history on that. Yeah the MI rod is far superior. Anybody looking for a gently used reaction rod?

I saw a old photo at ArmaLite from the 60’s with an upper assembly on a “extension chuck” as the caption stated. Earliest version I’ve ever seen.
