    Side Charging AR15 Charging Handle

Has anyone used one of these side charger charging handles? Considering trying one on the 9mm since it has no LRBHO. I think it would be much more convenient to charge it from the side.

I did a review of a side charging AR upper a few years ago. It really just depends, but I personally didn't like it for me. It has it's place in the world but not my most favorite set up.

I got to try a dedicated side charging upper at one point. There was nothing really wrong with it per se, but it did feel superfluous and I decided it'd never be a thing I'd personally go for.

I have a JP side charger that’s actually really nice. It does not have any opening at the rear for a standard charging handle and is much cleaner suppressed. I prefer a side charger anyway like a SCAR or AK. Does away with the F/A also.
