Aero Precision M4E1 Threaded Receiver Set
I like the look of these. I don't know anything about the 'threaded receiver' other than what's on the website. 25% discount and free shipping.
Any negatives I should be aware of?

They are good to go. Great value. The "threaded" label is to distinguish from the "enhanced" uppers: https://www.aeroprecisionusa.com/ar1...upper-receiver

I’ve got an M4E1 lower that’s my next pistol/SBR build. The only negative would be the integrated trigger guard if you’re dead set on that blue adonized trigger guard in your parts bin that’s been dying to be a part of your next build.
The guys here sold me on this lower a while back, I just need to finish building it up.

Thanks.
Curious if the angled receiver might interfere with handguards using anti-rotation tabs like the new MI Combat I recently purchased, or others?

Sorry. Poor and incomplete question on my part.
Standard receiver
Aero M4E1. Appears to be additional material creating a built-up angled/flat area forward of the ejection port.
Standard receiver with MI handguard anti rotation tabs. Tabs are snug to receiver, no extra room.

That seems like it would warrant a call to Aero to make sure of comparability before buying. If there isn't clearance there it could be a problem maybe?
No answer for you just let us know what you find out.

Found this quote on MI's website:
"IMPORTANT COMPATIBILTY NOTES!
Due to the many different dimensions in BILLET UPPER RECEIVERS on the market, please contact your billet upper receiver manufacture to insure fit of this handguard. This handguard is compatible with standard forged upper receivers."

If I remember, I'll throw together a M4E1 and a combat rail tomorrow and see if they fit.

It's snug, but no issues installing it on a M4E1.
