    Forward Controls Design 1815 flash suppressor (1/2 x 28)

1815 is our second xx15 series of flash suppressors with muzzle rise compensation abilities. So far, the series includes 6315 and 1815, soon to be joined by 6315x (extended), 6315KM (Keymo), 1815x and 1815KM.

1815 is precision machined from solid 4130 bar stock, heat treated and black nitrided, it is based on our successful 6315 compensator/flash suppressor. Its 3 and 9 o'clock ports are angled up at 8 degrees, and smaller than the 12 o'clock port so more gas is vented through the upward facing ports, it is a superior compensator to the A2, its flash suppression is superior to that of an A2, thanks to its open ended design. 1815 is compatible with M16 BFA and most A2 mounted sound suppressors.

Below is a composite picture of 1815 testing, with 10.5" barrel, we purposely test all of our flash suppressors with short barrels. The flash signature is significantly less with a 14.5" or longer barrel.

As on the 6315, there's a wire cutter feature on 1815, the wire cutter notch is located at 6 o'clock, and in conjunction with the 12 o'clock port, can be used to line up and hold the wire. Also like the 6315, 1815 is a light and short blended performance muzzle device. It provides 15 to 25% better muzzle rise compensation than the A2, and what is impressive is that it does so without sacrificing its flash suppression capabilities, or creating more noise and concussion.

The number 18 in its name pays homage to the Armalite AR 18/180, the shape of its ports draws heavily from the AR18/180's flash suppressor design. 1815 is a part of Forward Controls' x15 muzzle device series.

A crush washer is included. Optional Precision Armament 1/2x28 Accu-Washer is available (please see drop down menu).

Proudly designed and made in USA.

I love how these look. I was just talking with Axlnut about a similar styled AK flash hider coming out. Closed bottom.

    Looks excellent.

The exit hole of the 1815 is the same as that of the 6310 (30 cal version of the 6315), it can work on an AK with an adapter :)

Extended version of 6315 and 1815 will be available this year. 6315KM will come out before 1815KM, there is already a lot of open ended Keymo flash suppressor mounts

    Looking forward to your design.

I only know of two mounts from Dead Air, the NOX from SOLGW, and one other AK mount whose designer I can’t recall. Are there more out there??

I've seen brakes, but nothing like the more conventional A2/6315 designs yet.
