New World Record for longest shot with a rifle... over 3.4 miles (6,012 yards)
New world record for long range shooting.
Hit a 32 inch by 48 inch plate at 6,012 yards (over 3.4 miles).
The bullet flew over 1,400 feet above the ground before coming back down and hitting the target.
Approximately a 17 second time of flight from trigger pull to connection.
