Thanks. It's pretty much done. I am considering an HVT can for it but otherwise it is pretty much where I want it.

I just upgraded the standard Kimber forward slant sights on my Kimber Custom II to Kimber's night sights (forward slant), Meprolight Tritium. I have been meaning to do this for a while and finally got around to it. I also changed out the grips, replacing them with Raasco's Charcoal and Walnut Dymondwood, tactical half-checkered hardwoods laminated using phenolic resins.

Quib,
I am a huge XD fan. Nice pistol and a good photo. What sort of grip wrap do you have on there?
I own 1 each of: XD-40 Service Model, XD-40 Subcompact, & XDM-40.- Federalist22

The 98k? Nothing special, just a Yugo capture I purchased a few years back.
The rifle is not personally tied in any way to the other items, I just added those in there for the photo op. Some of the other items do have family historic value though, (i.e. photos, award, badge) and belonged to my deceased father-in-law. He served with the 5th SS Panzer Division “Wiking” during WWII.
