About the only thing that could make that more fun would be a cyclic rate of around 850 rpm.

The Scorpion is much better if it was FA. However, right now, I think it's the most fun you can have with a 9mm for $700 as is.

There is only one optic mount worth buying for MP5s, and it says B&T on the side. :)

No, it's a B&T, just a bigger one that optimal. It was a pain to get on and leveled, and I wish I could still shoot irons with it, but it works well enough.

You should switch to the low version. It allows lower 1/3 co-witness.

Do you have the actual model number? When I bought mine, I knew it wasn't an ultra low one, but even afterwards, I wasn't sure which one actually co-witnessed. Having a 1/3 would be perfect.

Getting mine on required lots of rubber mallet time and slowly tightening the feet down to keep it level, it still didn't seem like the best mate up, but it's held zero. I know I'm probably just spoiled by pic rail mounts.

As far as install, it went on easy, but I also have a German host.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was part of the issue.

    Thanks for the part number.
