Maybe we should use that as argument for why the left should support repeal of the NFA. You know, eat the rich, support the 98% and all that...

Thats true but on the flip side of that those types of people have options depending on their situation. If the price of their investments actually drop they can write off capitol losses against other things such as capital gains from their stock portfolios or other things so financially at least in theory they could be square. Odds are some might be one dimensional and have their wealth all tied up into a one dimensional thing, but others are not.

If they have their gun trusts or whatever set up as a business or an investment (even collecting can be treated as investing per the IRS) It's the same way the rich do with art for example. They (financially) could actually come out smelling like a rose. It's going to all depend how they have that stuff structured, when they got in, how they did it etc etc.

All that said the cart is getting ahead of the horse in my opinion.

I think the HPA has a real shot at getting through because all the suppressor sales are hindering the overall mission of the ATF while at the same time not having a quantifiable impact on crime at all. Machine guns though I think would be a different story. I could see more backlash on that (however stupid it may be).

Took one to the range, the H1's are much easier to pick up than RMR's IMHO since the dot doesn't move with the slide.... who does love living in a world of excess!
