Why do people hate the finger grooves on Glock grips?

I don't like them on Gen 3's because where they are is just not where my fingers want to be, so instead of falling into the finger grooves, my fingers tend to ride on the sides and tops.

I don't mind the Gen 4's because they're smaller and less obtrusive. It's kinda like a couple AR grips. I like the bumps on an Erog, but abhor Hogue's

A properly executed undercut solves a lot of the issues people have with the finger grooves in gen 3's. I personally prefer to nub them down a bit though to allow my hand to fit itself to the frame better.

I've found the same, I leave them, but "toned down" a bit, which seems to make them work well with a good undercut. They are useful as an index point.

Because they're too large and poorly placed.

This gun is actually begging for a stipple job. It's not my C9, but so far I like it, and it's affordable enough where if you were to offer services down the road, I would buy one just to see what you could do with it.

I think it depends on how big your paws are. I don't mind them at all, but I'm in the minority.

I've been shooting Glocks since the first Gen 2 and I haven't noticed the grip changes at all. Maybe I'm just lucky and my hands fit their specs. I've had a lot of friends complain about the "blocky" feeling grip, but never about the finger grooves.

As if I could possibly need MORE motivation to get my FFL.

I'd need the first job free... you know, just to see if I wanted to do more.

Sounds good to me. As long as I get free money for it.

I get the blocky feel. I have big hands and stubby sausage fingers, but it doesn't stop me from liking my Glocks.

I went to the fun shop to pick up my SMOS set and QC10 lower today. If you spend $100 per item, they waive the transfer fee. I might have managed to jump that particular hurdle.
