not mine, it's one of my pop's many 1911s
it was the first Caspian Damascus slide/Ti frame combo; a gift from Gary Smith
if you look carefully at the front, you will notice the "Dragon's Teeth" cuts characteristic of Travis Strahan's Accu-Lock system. I think my father has four (4) Acculocks total, including an early prototype.

I just put my new VZ grips on today. They are awesome.
First thoughts over at the blog. Hopefully get it out to the range in the next few days.Last edited by Optimus Prime; 16 August 2010 at 21:33. Reason: Gah! Giant pictures!

My SA 1911 Loaded on a USA made frame. I replaced the FLGR with a Wilson Combat GI plug, spring, and rod. I put on 10-8 blued grip screws and Strider/Simonich gunner grips. I plan on replacing more of the MIM parts and the SA ILS with Ed Brown or Wilson Combat parts later. Right now I'm just enjoying shooting my 1911.
