Brand New Colt 6920 AR-15!!!

I purchased my first AR this past Sunday at a local gun show in Dupage County, IL. I wanted to thank all you guys on the forum here for your input and advice over the past few weeks. I am new the "AR arena", and was able to get real info from you guys, just wanted to say thanks for your help! I actually will have the weapon in about 10 days(next gun show), but have to say, I weighed in on the valuable knowledge offered here on the forum, very helpful.

Investment(with the changing laws-should hold and possibly increase in value.
Target practice(I work alot, but try to get out to range few times a year)
If a catastrophe like 'Katrina' ever hits, I will sleep at night knowing I can protect my family.
I intend to take a class to increase my knowledge and ability with the weapon.
